We did take advantage of the pool area for a brief period of time, the pool was heated and the area was well kept. We had lunch at Agua Viva out on the rooftop patio with beautiful views and the food and drinks were delicious.
We very much enjoyed breakfast at San Laurel, the avocado eggs benedict with jamon serrano was superb. The food on the premises is excellent, yes it is pricey but if you are there for a special occasion it's worth the splurge. The shower was great, beautiful with plenty of water pressure. All of the staff at the hotel was very gracious and welcoming and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. We received a beautiful room upgrade overlooking the Disney Concert Hall with an amazing view.
The team at the hotel graciously reached out to us prior to our stay to see if we were celebrating any special occasion and we were delighted upon our arrival to see that they had left us some special treats, champagne as well as left some decorations in our room. We booked through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts program so we received some perks that were included through that program. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful one night stay at this location in celebration of our wedding anniversary.
